Network Operations Engineer

As a Network Operations Engineer at Protera, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud networking solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Ensuring seamless connectivity across cloud and hybrid environments to support client business applications and services
• Maintaining network and operational stability of client test and production environments
• Automating network provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

This role helps global clients transform their operations with cloud-based solutions, making IT smoother, faster, and more efficient for SAP-centric organizations to drive growth and innovation.

Required qualifications and skills:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud networking with a focus on AWS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong knowledge of core networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, network security) and AWS-specific technologies (VPC, subnets, route tables, security groups)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and IaC automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• CCNA/CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or comparable certifications strongly preferred
