Mission
What you will drive
- Design and implement scalable network patterns across on-premises and AWS environments, including VPC architecture, security groups, routing tables, and hybrid connectivity solutions
- Maintain and improve enterprise networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) with high availability; diagnose and resolve complex network issues in production with minimal disruption; manage infrastructure using Terraform and automation tools
- Implement firewall rules, network segmentation, and security controls; create comprehensive documentation of physical and logical network topology; perform forensic analysis of existing equipment
- Lead network infrastructure projects, manage contractors and external consultants, and serve as the client-facing expert for SYSO networking needs

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 5–10 years of professional network engineering experience with ability to operate autonomously and manage complex infrastructure projects
- Deep expertise in IP addressing/subnetting, VLANs, port aggregation, DNS, DHCP, IPSec VPNs, BGP, and OSPF
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC design, security groups, routing tables, hybrid connectivity); proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Proven track record with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and access points in high-availability configurations; experience with Windows Server and Ubuntu Server; proficiency with Wireshark and packet capture analysis; strong troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues
