Nature-based Solution Analyst

• Enhance quality assessment framework for NbS projects along our goodcarbon impact dimensions
• Apply our nature intelligence to NBS projects from the marketplace
• Research and develop new standards for emerging project types for carbon sequestration and new credit types (e.g. biodiversity)
• Build up intelligence on emerging methodologies, standards, monitoring technologies etc. in the NbS market
• Support our content marketing with insightful and innovative knowledge on NbS
• Establish collaboration with potential science partners and other project developers

This role contributes to restoring ecosystems for the long term by tackling the triple crisis of Climate, Biodiversity, and Social imbalance through high-integrity Nature-Based Solutions.

• Master degree or PhD (preferred) in environmental science with a focus on carbon sequestration or NbS
• 3-5 years experience in research or project development of NbS projects
• Expertise of existing NbS methodologies, verification standards and monitoring technologies
• Interest in developing new standards and quality levels in the NbS market
• Network of experts in the area of NbS
• As a part of an international team, you’re fluent in English, German is a plus
