What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement targeted, evidence-based advocacy activities using the SMART Advocacy approach to contribute to tangible policy and advocacy outcomes
- Formulate and implement integrated country advocacy plans for midwifery and maternal and newborn health commodities utilization aligned with UNFPA's Global Advocacy Strategy
- Strengthen and expand national advocacy coalitions of influential midwives and policymakers to advocate for increased government investment in midwifery models of care
- Identify potential funding opportunities and support development of resource mobilization strategies for the Country Office
