About the Role
The NAM Lean & Continuous Improvement Manager will lead and promote a continuous improvement culture focused on eliminating waste and enhancing value.
Responsibilities
- Lead and promote a continuous improvement culture focused on eliminating waste and enhancing value.
- Analyze key performance indicators and drive actions to improve results.
- Identify and standardize processes across business units for greater efficiency.
- Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Daily Management, and Kaizen events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize and digitize processes.
- Facilitate cost-out and productivity projects to achieve savings targets.
- Partner with leadership to align improvement priorities with budget goals.
- Coordinate and lead Kaizen events to support service organization needs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Lead, or Lean Master certification.
- 10+ years of experience in Lean operating systems or continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ideally in energy, technology, or industrial sectors.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support initiatives.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
