About the Role

The NAM Lean & Continuous Improvement Manager will lead and promote a continuous improvement culture focused on eliminating waste and enhancing value.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a continuous improvement culture focused on eliminating waste and enhancing value.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and drive actions to improve results.
  • Identify and standardize processes across business units for greater efficiency.
  • Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Daily Management, and Kaizen events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to harmonize and digitize processes.
  • Facilitate cost-out and productivity projects to achieve savings targets.
  • Partner with leadership to align improvement priorities with budget goals.
  • Coordinate and lead Kaizen events to support service organization needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Lead, or Lean Master certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in Lean operating systems or continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ideally in energy, technology, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support initiatives.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
