Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Establish campaigns by supporting local organizations to craft winning campaign plans, develop strong coalitions, and build relationships with potential lead organizations
  • Equip campaigns with communications and messaging best practices, ghost-write bespoke collateral, and assemble relevant policy research
  • Enhance campaigns by producing rapid-response materials, tracking down answers to questions, and leveraging WNN's national network to bring in outside experts
  • Ensure campaign policies work by maintaining understanding of policy proposals, analyzing their impact on housing abundance, and crafting proposals where appropriate

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Zeal for organizational goals including passing pro-housing policy, supporting local advocates, cultivating coalitions, and working with diverse partners
  • Strong understanding of housing policy regarding zoning, land use, and regulatory factors influencing affordable housing
  • Experience inside successful efforts to change municipal policy, either as an advocate or from inside local government
  • Extraordinary writing skills with ability to produce high-quality content quickly, exceptional attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities

Salary range: $88,000 - $110,000 per year with comprehensive benefits including:
