Job Title: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating our programs to ensure they are meeting their intended goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement M&E frameworks for our programs
- Develop and manage databases and data collection tools
- Conduct data analysis and produce high-quality reports
- Collaborate with program staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for implementation
- Provide technical assistance to program staff on M&E best practices
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced M&E professional who can work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in M&E, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. statistics, economics, public health)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical skills in data analysis and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with M&E best practices and standards
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. statistics, economics, public health)
- Additional 2 years of experience in M&E
- Certification in M&E (e.g. CQI/ASQ Black Belt)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and management systems (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox)
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong technical skills in data analysis and reporting
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
