Midwest Program Manager

• Develop and sustain relationships with Alliance member land trusts and partners in the Midwest region through visits, meetings, and direct services.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate organizational development programs, including grantmaking, training, and technical assistance.
• Lead or assist in training and networking programs, and represent the Alliance at conferences and events.
• Partner with development staff to identify and cultivate funding relationships, and manage program budgets.

This role strengthens land trust capacity and advances equitable conservation outcomes, helping to protect natural places and working lands that provide clean air, water, food, and community benefits across the Midwest.

• Minimum 8 years' experience with nonprofit organizations, preferably in land conservation.
• Minimum 3 years' demonstrated ability to fundraise at all levels (foundations, corporations, individuals, government).
• Strong project management experience with at least 3 years' budget and grant management.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and ability to build and sustain diverse partnerships.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; paid vacation, personal, sick, and holiday leave; and 403(b) retirement benefits.
