Mission
What you will drive
- Build validation frameworks and test automation for microgrid control software, including simulation environments and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Define test cases and performance criteria in partnership with controls engineers, power systems engineers, utilities, and external stakeholders.
- Integrate field learnings into validation by analyzing operating data and improving simulation fidelity.
- Maintain validation assets, including HIL environments, test infrastructure, and technical documentation.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in real-time system HIL validation, SIL testing, or power system model verification.
- Hands-on experience with real-time simulators (SIL, HIL) and simulation tools like Simulink or Modelica.
- Familiarity with industrial control programming languages (C++, IEC 61131-3, Structured Text, etc.) and modern software development practices.
