Mission

What you will drive

The MERL Consultant will:

  • Manage routine monitoring systems using DHIS2 and Looker Studio to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
  • Support field-based data collection activities, including troubleshooting mobile data collection tools and ensuring data quality assurance
  • Enter, clean, validate, and maintain datasets in ODK databases while ensuring data integrity
  • Translate data into actionable insights for program learning and decision-making through analytical reports and dashboards

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in MERL activities, preferably in community health, primary care, or health systems strengthening programs
  • Hands-on experience with digital health data systems including ODK/KoboToolbox, DHIS2, and Looker Studio
  • Experience supporting field data collection, data quality assurance, and coordination with field teams
  • Strong skills in ethical data management including IRB processes, confidentiality, and compliance with research standards
  • Proficiency in Amharic strongly preferred
