About the Role
Our Mentoring Service Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that our mentoring support for serving personnel, veterans and families runs smoothly, safely and effectively every day.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries and guide cases through the system
- Coordinate the entire volunteer journey from recruitment and onboarding through to training, compliance and offboarding
- Act on behalf of the Service Manager in day-to-day operations and during periods of absence
- Ensure quality, consistency and safeguarding remain at the forefront of everything we do

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Confidence working with sensitive, complex and sometimes emotional situations with sound knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality and GDPR
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard
- Experience of planning and managing your own workload with minimal supervision
- Experience working with volunteers or volunteering yourself, understanding good volunteer practice
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Ability to drive and have access to your own car for required travel
