Mental Health Program Manager / Fluent Conversational Arabic Required

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and management of all mental health programs in the Middle East, particularly in Gaza and Egypt
• Supervise and support relevant staff, contractors, project leaders, and volunteers working with children and beneficiaries
• Coordinate the mental health care of children, ensuring they receive comprehensive and holistic support
• Maintain accurate records of program activities and prepare regular reports on program progress and outcomes

This role creates positive change by coordinating mental health care for injured children evacuated from Gaza and developing new mental health programs to help heal children in Palestine through a holistic approach.

Required qualifications:

• Advanced or post-graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Public Health, Global Health, Health Administration, or another relevant discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health program management, preferably in a nonprofit or humanitarian context
• Strong knowledge of mental health issues affecting children in conflict zones
• Fluent in English with strong conversational Arabic; full proficiency in Arabic is a plus
