Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Specialist

Core responsibilities:

• Establish an MHPSS strategy for the UNFPA Sudan Country Office, train MHPSS Analysts, sensitize staff, and oversee implementation
• Assess current MHPSS interventions within UNFPA's SRH and GBV programmes and staff knowledge/skills among partners
• Contribute to design and development of information, education and communication material for MHPSS interventions
• Supervise MHPSS Analysts and support roll out and oversight of UNFPA MHPSS programming at field level
• Coordinate with GBV and SRH Program teams to ensure MHPSS services are standardized in referral pathways
• Develop tools to ensure MHPSS interventions comply with international guidelines and best practices
• Actively participate in inter-agency, multi-sectoral state-level GBV, SRH and MHPSS coordination groups
