Member Communications Manager & Editor

Core responsibilities:

• Create and distribute monthly newsletters and quarterly digital publications (Exaggerated Features) with informative, entertaining, and educational content for the caricature community
• Design, curate, and edit content for the Annual Compendium print publication, managing layout, proofing, and print logistics
• Manage ISCA's digital assets including the Exaggerated Features Blog, YouTube channel, and ISCAWiki
• Participate in Education & Engagement committee meetings and maintain editorial calendars, budgets, and standard operating procedures

This role elevates the art of caricature by creating engaging content that connects, inspires, and educates caricature artists worldwide, promoting caricature as a valuable art form and professional resource.

Required qualifications:

• Experience working with commercial printers and design/web authoring software (Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Word, social media platforms)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including proofreading, spelling, and grammar
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong organizational skills including multi-tasking and time management

No benefits, unemployment, or worker's compensation are provided for this position. The role involves quarterly work estimated at 30-35 hours per quarter.
