About Jewish Studio Project Jewish Studio Project (JSP) builds creative capacity across the Jewish community. Founded in 2015, JSP has evolved from a small startup into a leading national organization with a dynamic team, a growing network of partners and leaders, and a reach of tens of thousands. Our unique methodology strengthens creative capacity—equipping individuals and organizations with tools to navigate change, build resilience, and reimagine Jewish life. We are one year into implementing an ambitious strategic plan to scale our impact through three key pathways: expanding access to JSP programs and content, equipping Jewish leaders with creative tools for navigating change, and establishing a network of regional creativity hubs across the country. Position Overview The Marketing Manager is a critical member of the JSP advancement team. This team member will execute multi-channel marketing strategies that amplify JSP's brand presence and share our impact with a rapidly expanding audience. This position is responsible for managing our website, social media and email communications, ensuring that JSP’s strategic direction is translated into high-performing digital experiences. Key Responsibilities Project Management Overall management of marketing/communication team goals including quarterly marketing calendar (Monday.com), content production, newsletter cycle (MailChimp) and social media streams. Anticipate peak communications needs tied to events, campaigns, seasonal programs, and reporting cycles. Help secure media features and coordinate the publication of staff-generated content to support brand amplification goals. Liaise and interface with consultants and vendors on expansive graphic design, video editing and branding projects. Content Creation & Organization Collaborate to create bold, dynamic content for social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) including written elements, still graphics and video content. Produce and oversee workstream for regularly scheduled and occasionally emergent newsletters. Ensure all written materials are accurate, audience-appropriate, and consistent with organizational voice, style and communications strategies. Maintain accurate, easily retrievable systems for managing marketing and communications assets, documents, production files, and reference materials. Social Media & Website Design and execute a comprehensive year-round social media strategy optimizing content format and timing to grow the organization's reach, drive engagement, share thought leadership, and support fundraising efforts. Manage and execute daily maintenance and engagement of communication channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, website (Squarespace), and email platform (MailChimp). Maintain and ensure all information on our website and across social media platforms is up to date, accurate, and aligned with JSP’s priorities. Measure the success of our marketing strategies and tactics through data analytics across all platforms. Qualifications 2-3 years of experience or training in marketing, social media, and communications. Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape and social media platforms. Experience with newsletter writing and design (Mailchimp preferred). Design savvy with ability to create multi-dimensional, on-brand images for diverse campaigns. Understanding of the North American Jewish non-profit ecosystem. Strong project management skills with experience organizing complex initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. Thrive in a growing and dynamic organization with a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for JSP's mission and vision for creativity in Jewish life. Able to perform computer-based tasks for an extended period of time. This is a full time (40 hours per week) remote position. Must be living in and eligible for work in the United States. Must be available to work during JSP’s core business hours of 9am-2pm PT Monday-Friday (remaining hours each day are flexible to your time zone).
