The National Cervical Cancer Coalition (NCCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and supporting individuals impacted by cervical cancer and HPV. Through advocacy, awareness, and community engagement, NCCC works to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health concern. The Marketing & Data Design Intern will support NCCCโ€™s awareness and outreach efforts by transforming current cervical cancer statistics into engaging, accessible marketing materials. Scope of Work / Responsibilities Design state-specific printable flyers featuring the latest cervical cancer statistics for outreach and education and other duties as assigned. Translate public health data into clear, visually compelling graphics Create social media content (Instagram & TikTok) aligned with campaign goals Use Canva-based tools and templates to produce branded, consistent materials Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with NCCC messaging Collaborate with team members to refine messaging and improve audience engagement Organize a library of templates and design assets Qualifications Interest in public health, advocacy, or nonprofit work Experience creating infographics or marketing materials Familiarity with interpreting health or demographic data Proficiency in Canva (or similar design platforms) Strong analytical and data interpretation skills Ability to translate data into engaging visual content Understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok Strong attention to detail and accuracy Creative mindset with an eye for design and layout Excellent communication and organizational skills Contract Terms Estimated 10 hours per week for 6-8 weeks Either party may terminate the agreement with 30-days written notice COMPENSATION NCCC shall pay Contractor at an hourly rate of $25 for each hour of Services performed by Contractor. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of Contractorโ€™s invoice (the โ€œ Fee โ€). Contractor shall receive no additional compensation or benefits of any kind from NCCC, including, without limitation, health insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid time off, or any other employee benefits. NCCC shall issue Contractor an IRS Form 1099 at the end of each calendar year as required by law. ASHA shall make no withholdings for federal or state taxation purposes, or any other purpose, from the Fee. Contractor is solely responsible for payment of all applicable taxes on compensation received. NCCC will fully and exclusively have ownership of all content and intellectual property developed by Contractor under this scope of work, to use in perpetuity as ASHA sees fit.
