Marketing and Communications Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to and execute integrated communications and marketing strategies to elevate the organization's brand, engage stakeholders, and support advocacy and education efforts
• Write, edit, and produce engaging content for newsletters, blogs, press releases, websites, and educational campaigns while translating complex medical information into accessible language
• Manage social media platforms, create multimedia content, and stay current with digital trends to build community and increase engagement
• Serve as media contact, pitch stories, draft press releases, and support organizational spokespeople with talking points and interview preparation

This role creates positive change by improving health outcomes for people with allergies and asthma through education, advocacy, and outreach, translating complex medical information into accessible content that helps patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Health, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years progressive work experience in communications, marketing, digital engagement, or public affairs with project management experience
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to translate complex health topics into plain language
• Hands-on experience managing digital platforms, email marketing tools, and social media with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools

Remote position with flexibility to work from home office. Must be available during East Coast business hours. Occasional travel to medical meetings or staff retreats. No specific compensation, perks, or culture highlights mentioned in the posting.
