Market Engagement Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, contractors, utility partners, and internal teams, building strong, trust-based relationships that support program participation and success.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement of vendors and contractors, ensuring understanding of program requirements, processes, tools, and incentives.
• Advance projects through proactive communication, coordination, and follow-up, helping trade allies move from opportunity identification through project completion.
• Conduct outreach and education efforts, including presentations, trainings, and events, to promote program offerings and increase participation.

This role supports the successful delivery of utility energy efficiency programs, helping advance clean energy solutions, load flexibility, electrification, and carbon reduction to power environmental change.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency programs, account management, customer success, outreach, sales support, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to advance projects through organization, follow-up, and collaboration rather than authority.

Compensation range of $70k-80k base salary plus discretionary annual bonus. Comprehensive benefits package includes three weeks of paid vacation per year, paid holidays, 401(k)-retirement plan with employer matching, health, dental and vision insurance, and other supplemental benefits.
