Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- All aspects of content publishing, including article acquisition and curation, copyediting and proofreading, headlines, imagery selection, applying keywords and tags, and posting to WordPress CMS
- Keeping current publishing systems running without interruption, maintaining a minimum posting rate of three articles per weekday, and maintaining relationships with authors and content partners
- Sustaining the editorial voice of Resilience.org as a trusted and accessible source of information about sustainability challenges while reflecting Post Carbon Institute's worldview
- Collaborating with PCI Marketing/Communications team on audience outreach and engagement, and with PCI Program Director on high-level editorial decisions

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing and/or performing key aspects of editorial and production process for an online publication in English with solid copyediting skills
- Self-starter, self-manager able to initiate and execute work independently without supervision
- Experience using online content management system (WordPress or similar) and fluent with Google Workspace
- Experience using SEO, taxonomies, and website analytics to inform editorial decision-making
- Deep familiarity with current sustainability issues, especially as they relate to community and individual resilience

It's an online publication that posts original and re-published articles on sustainability issues for an international audience as part of the global grassroots sustainability movement.
