What you will drive

About

The Managing Director, Finance role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities, driving strategic financial planning, and leading a global finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all finance and accounting activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation and analysis, organizational audit, and policy development
  • Drive the creation and adoption of systems, tools, and processes aimed at linking organizational strategy to long-term financial goals
  • Supervise the U.S. Coordination Site Finance Team of approximately 20 people and oversee development of a ~100 person global finance team across ten locations
  • Lead the organizational audit process including preparation of annual financial statements, auditor relationship management, and development of strong audit plans

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in similar roles or industries
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in finance from an accredited college or university
  • Certified Public Accounting license (CPA) required
  • Experience in audit management and U.S. not-for-profit GAAP
  • Experience building, implementing, and optimizing financial planning and expense management processes
  • Proficiency in using and learning financial software

  • Expected starting salary range: $175,000-190,000/year (position class range: $170,000-200,000/year)
