Managing Director, Budgets & Contracts

• Lead and manage a 14-person Budgets & Contracts department, including hiring, staff assignments, team development, planning, and evaluation
• Streamline budget and contracting processes and systems, optimizing the functionality and integration of HRiA's finance tech stack
• Develop, update, and ensure the accuracy of the organizational budget, monitoring revenue and spending against budget
• Oversee client, subcontractor, and consultant contracting, ensuring compliance with contract terms and government regulations

This role supports HRiA's mission to improve public health and advance health and racial equity by ensuring financial stewardship and compliance, enabling the organization to effectively manage its $60+ million budget and diverse revenue streams to drive policy and systems change.

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration or related field with 12+ years nonprofit finance experience OR Master's Degree with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in management and supervision
• Experience maximizing use of financial ERP systems (Workday Adaptive Planning highly preferred)
• Nonprofit fund accounting and GAAP knowledge, advanced Microsoft Excel skills
