Manager Medical Affairs Infectious Diseases

Core responsibilities:

• Act as a subject matter data expert for BNT162b2 in Germany and engage with key German opinion leaders and professional groups
• Develop and conduct internal/external medical education activities, manage local sponsorships, and support organization of scientific events
• Organize and carry out internal medical review processes ensuring compliance with German pharmaceutical laws and manage contracts with HCPs and vendors
• Compile and control project budgets, coordinate through BNT tools, and support digital medical projects and day-to-day Medical Affairs activities

This role contributes to improving global health by providing scientific expertise for medical-marketing activities related to COVID-19 and BNT162b2, helping advance treatments for infectious diseases with high medical needs.

Required qualifications:

• Scientific Degree (PhD, Pharmacist, MD) in a relevant field such as Biomedicine or Immunology
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or consulting industry, ideally in medical affairs roles in the German market
• Excellence in communicating science effectively in both English and German (native speaker)
• Strong medical, analytical and organizational skills with experience in project management tools and budget oversight
