Manager, IT Projects

Core responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders to identify, define, prioritize, develop, and deliver IT projects
• Detail and document project information including objectives, scope, justification, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
• Oversee execution of assigned projects ensuring resources carry out tasks efficiently while upholding company standards
• Plan project management activities including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources

This role supports X-energy's goals and objectives by managing IT projects that facilitate the company's work in advanced nuclear energy technology, contributing to clean energy solutions and climate change mitigation.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with PMP certification
• 7-10 years experience in IT project management with recent experience in project scoping, planning, and scheduling
• Minimum 5 years as IT project manager with at least 2 years managing multiple overlapping projects
• Minimum 2 years experience in quality management supporting ISO or other quality standards
• Knowledge of Agile principles, ceremonies, and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Atlassian suite of tools
