Manager – Finance & Accounting

• Own day-to-day accounting operations across multiple global entities, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end/year-end close.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch and US accounting standards, statutory reporting, tax filings, and external audits.
• Manage intercompany accounting, multi-currency transactions, and consolidation for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide financial insights to leadership.

This role ensures financial integrity and compliance across a global network of over 100 cities, enabling R-Cities to effectively support urban resilience, climate adaptation, and equitable development worldwide.

• At least five years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of month-end and year-end close.
• Strong technical accounting across the full accounting cycle; working knowledge of Dutch or US accounting standards.
• Experience coordinating statutory reporting, tax compliance, and external audits with external advisors.
• Comfort with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and an internal-controls mindset.
