Summary

This position will focus on constructively developing and communicating key company positions across federal government agencies, industry organizations and related stakeholders while also engaging in strategies to help the company maintain and reinforce its global business  value chains. It will also support the company’s government relations communication strategy that focuses on both internal and external communications to create a coherent message across platforms.

The Company’s government relations and policy programs seek to sustain a dialogue with government authorities that promotes sound public policies and addresses emerging regulatory, policy and legislative issues. The Company is committed to playing an active and constructive role in the ongoing development of public policies related to investment, trade, financing, and society at large.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 5- 7 years of public policy and/or government affairs experience. 
  • This Manager will research and analyze congressional and federal agency actions on trade, supply chain, and export control issues.
  • Manage internal stakeholder groups of subject matter experts to inform corporate positions and response.
  • Regularly report on key issues to corporate leadership.
  • Manage relationships with trade associations and other stakeholder groups.   
  • Engage with Congressional and Federal agency staff on priority issues.
  • Support BU’s to grow opportunities and mitigate risk.
