Manager, Donor Relations

Core responsibilities:

• Cultivates donor relationships by updating, stewarding, and soliciting donors to deepen their financial partnership with NAMI
• Qualifies, solicits and closes gifts from Compassion Collective donors, focused on midlevel ($1,000-5,000) giving range
• Develops personalized digital engagement and direct marketing strategies, tailored to the midlevel donor audience
• Maintains accurate and current records in the CRM (Salesforce) of donor engagement and moves management

This role ensures ample unrestricted donations to support and enhance NAMI's mission of building better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness through donor cultivation and relationship management.

Required qualifications:

• 2-4 years' experience in donor relations/donor services, midlevel giving, or major donor experience in nonprofit, foundation or association fundraising
• Proven track record of achieving ambitious revenue targets
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• In-depth knowledge about donor databases (Salesforce experience preferred)
• Interest in mental health highly desirable
