Manager, Donor Relations

Core responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a comprehensive donor stewardship program and calendar for all donors
• Administer contracts and partnership agreements, including tracking, execution and reporting on deliverables
• Support the Development team in leveraging fundraising and non-fundraising events to engage donors
• Provide custom donor engagement support to the VP, Development, especially related to Development Committee, Board and Advisory Council fundraising activities

This role ensures that all donors are recognized as they wish, understand the organization's fiscal accountability, and experience the impact and outcomes of their investment in Family Equality, supporting the LGBTQ+ movement.

Required qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in development, marketing & communications or transferable skills
• Proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills, emphasizing strong creative and business writing with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Proficient with office technologies (Google suite, Microsoft Office, etc.) and a desire to continuously improve systems and processes
