Mission
What you will drive
- Develop and implement communication plans that support the organization's mission, increase awareness of and engagement with products and services, and build community connections across the network.
- Create and deliver high-quality written content for various media channels, including newsletters, social media, marketing materials, websites, blogs, and announcements.
- Guide the evolution of the organization's digital presence and strategic brand communications including oversight of website content and social media presence.
- Lead communication and marketing components of GBSN Beyond, including communications, event promotions, speaker/sponsor visibility, and storytelling, and other responsibilities as needed in coordination with the events team.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Minimum of three to four years of relevant work experience, preferably including external communications, program marketing, content strategy, and volunteer/customer engagement.
- Ability to develop and execute a content strategy aligned with organizational goals and tailored to target audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to write, edit, and proofread with a high degree of accuracy and minimal oversight; able to ensure the clarity and quality of both self-produced content and materials created by others.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot or similar) and an understanding of how to use them for contact management, email distribution, and engagement tracking.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar) to update and manage website content, with a working understanding of UX principles that support intuitive navigation and content organization.
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or another relevant field.

This is a full-time, fully remote position with benefits. Typical office hours are 9 am - 5 pm US Eastern time, with occasional programs and obligations taking place in the mornings, evenings or weekends to accommodate our global operations. We are open to some flexibility in scheduling that aligns with our program and operational needs.
