Major Donor Liaison for World BEYOND War

The Major Donor Liaison's primary role is to initiate and develop productive relationships with potential and existing major donors worldwide, working in coordination with the Development Director and other staff.

This work may include:

• Identifying prospective funders and major donors through personal networks, research, current funders, board recommendations, and staff
• Introducing them to WBW's work and value-add, sharing consistent updates via email, phone, and invitations to events
• Scheduling and leading meetings, leveraging connections to discuss WBW's work and assess funding interest
• Working to upgrade current individual donors to become sustainable major donors and writing thank-you letters

Secondarily, this staff person will assist in other aspects of financial development including helping to identify and submit European grants when relevant.

This role creates positive change by securing major donations to support World BEYOND War's mission of abolishing war and establishing a just peace, enabling the organization to expand its advocacy and educational work worldwide.

A successful candidate should have:

• Experience in the development field, particularly in working with major donors, with a record of success in securing major donations
• Experience working for an activist organization
• Familiarity with and passion for the cause of abolishing war and establishing a just peace
• Fluency in multiple languages, including English, and knowledge of European fundraising and grant application laws
• Experience with online management tools such as Action Network is highly desirable

Compensation: 1500 to 2000 Euros per month, based on local cost of living. This staff person will work as an independent contractor, but World BEYOND War will provide 2 weeks paid vacation as well as paid sick leave and parental leave.
