Magento Backend Developer

• Architect and develop custom Magento modules, plugins, and extensions following best practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for front-end and third-party integrations.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize MariaDB schemas for high-traffic eCommerce workloads.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with front-end developers, QA, and business stakeholders in an agile environment.

This role enables the customization of customer engagement platforms that help utilities and their customers reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, directly contributing to a cleaner environment.

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce).
• Proficient in PHP 8.x, Magento 2 module development, and object-oriented programming.
• Solid Python skills and hands-on experience with MariaDB, Linux, and Nginx.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and interest in sustainability.
