What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Handle diverse requests from partner teams and internal team to help make Devcon great
- Assist with overseeing and managing vendors including venue, AV, ticketing, translation, main event production company, catering, internet, cleaning, security and design
- Facilitate collaboration between vendors whenever possible and manage volunteers
- Organize logistics and maintain speaker relationships with good communication

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Based in Mumbai (preferable) or India, and willing to be in Mumbai for 2 months prior to Devcon
- Experienced with organizing medium/large events (of at least 1000 people)
- Knowing local vendors and having experience in managing event vendors
- Familiarity with local event-related pricing and ability to conduct benchmarking and comparative market analysis
- Effective while working under pressure with hard deadlines and unknown issues
- Fluent in English (writing and speaking)

This is a contract role with hours billed monthly, which vary by month. The role is fully remote with in-person participation required during Devcon. Time commitment starts part-time (≈20 hrs/week) in April 2026 and ramps to full-time around June as Devcon approaches.
