Local Consultant - GBViE and Gender Expert for the Evaluation of the UNFPA L3 Response in DRC 2025

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to the methodological design of the evaluation and participate in data collection and analysis work
• Provide substantive inputs throughout the evaluation process by contributing to development of evaluation methodology, work plans, and field phase agenda
• Undertake document review, conduct interviews and group discussions with stakeholders, and contribute to data coding, analysis, and report writing
• Support production of all deliverables and assure quality in line with UNFPA evaluation guidelines and standards

This role contributes to evaluating UNFPA's humanitarian response in DRC, helping improve gender-based violence prevention and response programs to better protect vulnerable populations during emergencies.

Required skills, experience, qualifications:

• Expertise in Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) and gender issues
• Experience with evaluation methodologies, data collection, and analysis
• Knowledge of UNFPA evaluation guidelines and standards
• Ability to conduct interviews and group discussions with stakeholders
