What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate local campaigning work across London to improve the lives of people in local communities affected by Parkinson's
- Listen to the needs of local communities and work with colleagues to do focused political campaigning work and advocacy
- Be a first point of contact for supporters and campaigners in the local area who want to improve services
- Recruit and manage a sustainable network of local campaign volunteers

This role helps raise awareness and increase knowledge about Parkinson's, ensuring that the voices of people with Parkinson's, their families and carers are heard, and working to ensure everyone with Parkinson's has access to the multidisciplinary team so they can live well with Parkinson's.

Required skills and experience:
- Experience of campaigning and understanding of basic tools and techniques used in campaigning
- Experience of working with volunteers and service users, including how best to support them to achieve their campaigning goals
- Experience in organizing events and delivering training to volunteers and staff
- Ability to work flexibly, sometimes evenings or weekends, and experience using digital tools to work collaboratively and productively
