Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Motion practice and court filings: Draft motions and pleadings, cite-check briefs, coordinate service of process, prepare templates, research court rules, obtain filings from PACER and state court systems, proofread documents, assemble appendices and exhibits, coordinate printing and delivery, communicate with clerk's offices, and electronically file materials.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions and court hearings: Coordinate logistics, prepare witness files and exhibits, attend depositions to take notes and handle exhibits, digest transcripts, organize argument preparation materials, and assist in the courtroom.
  • Prepare for and attend trials: Organize and track exhibits and supporting documents, assist attorneys in the courtroom by taking notes and operating presentation software, assist with discovery productions, and help prepare witness testimony.
  • General administrative support: Maintain databases and accounts, manage case calendaring, schedule meetings, and provide clerical support as needed.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with motion practice and court filings, including drafting motions, cite-checking, and familiarity with court rules and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials, including logistics coordination, exhibit preparation, note-taking, and transcript digestion.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools like PACER and state court docket systems, and knowledge of citation styles such as Bluebook.
  • Strong administrative skills, including database management, calendaring, scheduling, and providing general clerical support.
