What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Administer and develop the Library Management System (Soutron) and resource discovery service (EBSCO Discovery)
  • Catalog print and online resources and manage the repository for the Institute's publications
  • Provide user education, training and support for online resources
  • Staff the Enquiry Desk and answer enquiries using a range of resources

Required qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in librarianship
  • Experience administering library management systems, discovery services and working with online resources
  • Excellent IT skills, including database searching and Excel
  • Working knowledge of cataloguing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience answering enquiries using a range of resources
