Legal Services Professional Development Director

• Develop and execute the Immigration Services department's training and professional development strategy and programs.
• Oversee immigration legal trainings, continuing legal education (CLE), career development, legal competency evaluations, and career counseling.
• Manage performance evaluation processes, provide feedback mechanisms, and handle career development counseling.
• Design, implement, and lead mentoring programs, including matching mentors and mentees.

This role ensures that legal staff are well-trained and supported, enabling the UFW Foundation to provide high-quality immigration legal services to low-income clients, including farm workers and immigrants, thereby advancing immigrant rights and social justice.

• Experience in designing and implementing effective legal professional development programs.
• Licensed attorney in good standing; JD or related degree and/or 5-7 years of related experience.
• 5+ years of immigration attorney and staff supervisory experience.
• Bilingual and/or bi-literate ability (English/Spanish) preferred.

Annual salary range: $87,000 to $120,000.
