What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide general legal support to Acumen's returnable fund activities throughout the fund lifecycle
  • Manage legal projects across stakeholders, coordinate legal involvement in transactions, and manage outside counsel activities
  • Support fund marketing, formation, oversight, deal diligence, documentation, and contract review
  • Collaborate with the legal team on various initiatives including venture capital investments and operational sustainability

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience practicing corporate law and managing legal projects across stakeholders
  • Experience with funds formation, governmental funders, and impact/charttable organizations preferred
  • Strong organizational, diplomacy, and communication skills with ability to work independently under pressure
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the US with JD or equivalent, and authorized to work in the US
