Lead Software Engineer (Python & .NET)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop, and maintain critical web applications and backend services. You will play a key role in building AI agents, automation workflows, and integrating with enterprise systems within a modern Azure cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services using Python and .NET.
• Develop and support AI agents and automation workflows.
• Build and enhance REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Work within the Azure ecosystem including App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Azure Fabric.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to UI development using modern web frameworks.
• Integrate applications with Oracle ERP systems.
• Support SCM-related business processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.

This role contributes to building the foundation for the world's next generation of clean energy infrastructure by developing technology that enables faster project delivery, higher performance, and greater reliability for solar power plants.

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Solid experience in .NET / C#
• Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with cloud deployments and automation
• Experience with UI development (Angular, React, or similar)
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience or strong interest in AI agent development and automation
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP (NetSuite / Oracle ERP)
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on mindset
• Ability to work across full stack and cloud infrastructure
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline such as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) is mandatory
• A master’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred and will be considered an added advantage
