What you will drive

Clarios is a leading provider of low voltage batteries and Connected Services solutions to help fleets utilize their batteries to their fullest capabilities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Sales Manager to join our team and drive our sales efforts to new heights.

What you will do

  • This is a single contributor, hunter role that will report to the Fleet Sales Director and aid in driving our growth and profitability of the fleet sales division within Clarios.

How you will do it

  • Aggressively prospect and hunt for fleets that fit our ideal customer profile
  • Attend trade shows
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve fleet sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Work with leadership team to accurately develop business forecasts
  • Update Salesforce for productivity visibility with organization
  • Establish and build relationships in line with Connected Services growth plan
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure sales.
  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to the Fleet Sales Director
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Success team to ensure timely delivery of batteries and Connected Services hardware
  • Timely expense report submission
  •  Travel 40-50% in throughout North America
     

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is often preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, telecommunications preferably in the fleet industry. Previous telematics sales experience a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and Hub Spot to manage customer interactions
  • HubSpot to manage customer interactions and data.
  • Skill in predicting future sales trends and setting realistic targets.
  • Expertise in negotiating deals and contracts with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Working effectively with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals.

This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance as further described below. The position has a salary range of $75,000 to $150,000 per year.
