Landscape Architecture Design Lead

Core responsibilities:

• Build client relationships, pre-position for opportunities, and secure a portfolio of work that aligns with growth objectives.
• Serve as Lead Designer on a range of assignments for both public and private sector clients.
• Work with staff to lead and deliver projects from inception through to construction while advocating for design excellence and constructability.
• Contribute to AECOM’s “think and act globally” philosophy by supporting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Proactively focus on team building, and mentor junior staff.

This role creates positive change by designing award-winning social infrastructure globally, including transformative projects like the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum renovation and public realm improvements, contributing to better urban environments and community spaces.

• Industry-recognized leader with a strong set of client relationships and portfolio of work.
• Proven track record in driving business fundamentals including business development, client management, financial oversight, quality control, and project delivery.
• Ability to effectively convey innovative design thinking and solutions.
• Experience in landscape architecture design leadership.
