Junior Technical Sales Engineer at RMP Global.

Responsibilities

  • Execute outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, industry outreach) to generate qualified meetings.
  • Research and map target accounts (DOTs, municipalities, contractors, design/engineering firms, developers, rail, industrial).
  • Qualify leads, document discovery notes, and maintain high-quality CRM hygiene.
  • Coordinate follow-ups and help move opportunities forward through each stage of the funnel.
  • Partner closely with a senior sales leader on account strategy, discovery calls, proposals, and closing plans.
  • Support technical discovery: gather requirements, constraints, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Assist with quotes, product comparisons, and customer-facing materials.
  • Track bid/RFP opportunities and support responses when needed.
  • Capture customer insights from calls, demos, and field conversations (pain points, objections, proof points).
  • Translate learned experiences into saleable messaging for our marketing team: value propositions, positioning, FAQs, case-study angles, and competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine language that resonates with stakeholders and helps convert prospects faster.
  • Assist at tradeshows periodically with direct face to face client interaction.

  • Strong communication skills (clear writing, confident calls, organized follow-up).
  • High ownership and reliability in a start-up environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
