Junior PHP Back-End Developer - AFS Energy

Core responsibilities for this role include:

• Working on the renewable energy trading platform and administration tool
• Developing complex business logic and financial market applications
• Splitting time between three projects: two existing repositories (3 and 8 years old) and a new project starting in 2027

This role contributes to renewable energy trading platforms, supporting the transition to sustainable energy systems and reducing environmental impact through technology development.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with PHP and eagerness to learn frameworks like Symfony
• Talent for programming and aptitude for understanding business logic
• Proficiency in English (written & verbal)
• Residence in the Netherlands and entitled to work in the Netherlands
• Nice to have: Experience with Java, Kotlin or Node.js
