Director of Human Resources

• Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and support staff development.

This role ensures the housing authority attracts and retains talented staff, directly supporting its mission to provide affordable housing and community services to Bangor residents.

• Proven experience in human resources management, preferably in a public or nonprofit setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work hybrid schedule with onsite presence in Bangor, ME.
