How to Apply for General Counsel
at Seifoundation
๐ข About Seifoundation
Seifoundation is at the forefront of blockchain innovation, having built the first parallelized layer 1 blockchain that combines web2 performance with web3 decentralization. Working here means joining a mission-driven team that is redefining scalability and sovereignty in the crypto space, with a strong emphasis on real-world application and regulatory maturity.
About This Role
As the first internal General Counsel, you will transform legal from a fragmented outside-counsel patchwork into a strategic, business-speed function. You'll personally draft contracts, negotiate deals, build compliance programs, and engage regulators, directly shaping the foundation's legal infrastructure as it scales.
๐ก A Day in the Life
A typical day might start with reviewing a partnership agreement, then jumping into a call with regulators about token classification. After lunch, you'll meet with the engineering team to discuss IP strategy for a new protocol feature, and end the day drafting a compliance playbook for ecosystem grants. The role is a mix of high-level strategy and hands-on legal work, with constant cross-functional collaboration.
