Senior Software Engineer, Accessibility

• Improve the architecture, stability, correctness and performance of the core Gecko accessibility engine.
• Debug and fix problems in multi-process, multi-threaded codebase and OS-specific issues.
• Collaborate with design and front-end teams to identify and remediate accessibility issues, and influence web standards.

This role directly contributes to making the web fully accessible, empowering people with disabilities to use the internet on their terms, and shaping Mozilla's mission to keep the internet open and accessible to all.

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with C++.
• Knowledge of web accessibility and ARIA.
• Experience working on cross-platform native applications and debugging multi-process, multi-threaded code.
