Staff Program Manager, Trust & Safety

• Manage key Trust & Safety programs to reduce harmful experiences for users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to proactively identify and mitigate risks to user safety.
• Apply data-driven frameworks to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emergent risks associated with new technology products.

This role directly contributes to making the internet safer and more trustworthy by designing and implementing safety programs that protect users from harm, misinformation, and privacy violations, aligning with Mozilla's mission to build a better internet for people.

• 5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety operations or a related role.
• Familiarity with content moderation ecosystems, including policy implementation standards and scaled review systems.
• Experience using metrics, dashboards, or reporting to identify trends and improve outcomes.
• Strong understanding of online safety issues (data privacy, misinformation, fraud) and AI safety issues (fairness, accountability, transparency).

• Salary range: $115,000 - $153,000 CAD (Canada Tier 1) or $104,000 - $139,000 CAD (Canada Tier 2)
