Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Engineering

• Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services at Mozilla.
• Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
• Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
• Guide team members and promote engineering best practices with a focus on usability and maintainability.

This role helps build and maintain the internal developer infrastructure that enables Mozilla to deliver privacy-focused products, supporting the mission to make the internet better for people.

• 5+ years experience in software engineering with expertise in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in several of: ArgoCD, Grafana, K8s, GitHub, Terraform, Helm, Backstage, Cloud Cost Optimization.
• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies (GCP preferred; AWS also acceptable).

• Salary ranges: Canada Tier 1 $104,000–$139,000 CAD; Canada Tier 2 $95,000–$126,000 CAD.
