Senior Software Engineer, Firefox Security

• Advance Firefox's security architecture and cryptography stack, focusing on cryptographic protocols, WebPKI, and security-sensitive web APIs.
• Design and implement web platform security features in collaboration with the broader web community.
• Improve browser reliability, performance, and resource efficiency by investigating and resolving stability, correctness, and performance issues.
• Collaborate on security initiatives, including debugging, root cause analysis, and implementation of long-term solutions.

This role directly contributes to making the internet safer and more private for over 225 million Firefox users worldwide, advancing Mozilla's mission to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies.

• Strong software engineering and security fundamentals with proficiency in C/C++ and understanding of cryptographic protocols.
• Experience building and maintaining complex software systems in large-scale or security-sensitive environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for multi-threaded, cross-platform native applications.
• Collaborative and effective communicator with a growth mindset and willingness to learn.
