Claim Specialist III

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve lost time workers' compensation claims within settlement authority.
• Communicate with insureds, injured workers, agents, attorneys, and others to determine coverage and liability.
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits, implement managed care strategies, and coordinate rehabilitation.
• Mentor less experienced claim representatives and maintain quality claim files.

This role ensures injured workers receive timely and appropriate benefits, supporting their recovery and return to work, while helping employers manage risk and maintain a safe workplace.

• Three years of workers' compensation lost time and medical only claim handling experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, Image Right) and valid driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
