Senior Specialist, IT Security Analyst

• Monitor and triage alerts from security tools (SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, email security, cloud security platforms).
• Conduct initial investigation and documentation of potential security incidents and escalate as needed.
• Support identity and access management tasks, vulnerability scanning, and security awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams and Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) to resolve security-related tickets and inquiries.

This role helps protect the organization's systems and data, ensuring the continuity of Make-A-Wish's mission to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

• Minimum 2+ years in IT; experience in cybersecurity strongly preferred.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of networks, systems, cloud environments, and endpoint security tools.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Azure Security Engineer, CCNA security).
